Can you be in a relationship (any relationship) with a person if your values differ. I say heck yeah. I’ve been in many different relationships with various people that had different values then I do. Is it even possible for two people to have all of the same values, if so then where do we become uniquely different. For instance, I value Islam, no one in my Family values Islam and for many years they didn’t value my belie in Islam but out of love and compassion, they began to respect the value that I have for Islam and the same goes for their religious values and my respect for them. Our values are very important but should they be the basis to our relationships? Anyway that’s my view and depending on your values, yours may be different.
